Public Health Department
The Public Health Department follows and implements work policies related to infection control and hygiene in relation to public health and adheres to them, reports epidemic diseases to the Ministry of Health, prepares the necessary statistics, sends and follows up on the results of samples from suspected cases, registers vaccinations for newborns in the Hisn program at the Ministry of Health, zero reports on epidemic diseases, sends daily and weekly reports on the number of patients, isolation rooms and medical needs in the hospital to the Ministry of Health, supervises disinfection and cleaning work in the hospital and supervises the morgue in order to maintain public health and hygiene standards in the hospital.
The Public Health Department does the following:-
Follows and implements the hospital’s work policy for the department and adheres to it.
Reports epidemic diseases to the Ministry of Health and prepares the necessary statistics.
Sends and follows up on the results of samples from suspected cases.
Registering newborn vaccinations in the Hosn program at the Ministry of Health
Zero reporting of epidemic diseases.
Sending daily and weekly reports on the number of patients, isolation rooms, and medical needs in the hospital to the Ministry of Health.
Supervising disinfection and cleaning work in the hospital.
Supervising the morgue and following up on deaths of Covid-19 cases and other epidemic diseases.
Coordination and follow-up with the medical waste disposal company.
Coordination and follow-up with the regular waste disposal company.
Coordination and follow-up with the pest control and disease vectors company.
Coordination with infection control and other departments related to public health.
Training health cadres on public health activities (medical waste, epidemic disease control, etc.).
Food and beverage control in the hospital.
Participation in disaster prevention, God forbid.
