In compliance with the command of our Lord and following the Sunnah of our Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and his saying, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: ((The believer to the believer is like a structure strengthening the other)), and in implementation of the directives of the founder of the Dar Al-Shifa Group, Sheikh Abdullah Al Mahmoud, may God protect him, which require full cooperation with all ministries and government departments to achieve the vision Kingdom 2030, cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development was to provide the opportunity for people with disabilities to engage in the labor market to meet their needs and to be a building block that contributes to the renaissance and stability of this country, as the hospital is keen to provide the best health care through an integrated, highly qualified work team, and its belief in the right of people with disabilities. People with disabilities have access to distinguished medical services and facilitative services that are appropriate for them, and their right to participate in work and achieve success on the basis of equality and equal opportunities. Therefore, we have worked to facilitate and remove all obstacles that prevent them from accessing integrated health care, and we are also working hard to create a harmonious work environment. And to be ready to receive people with disabilities as employees and not just as patients to participate with us in achieving the hospital’s vision and mission.

We at Dar Al-Shifa Hospital highly value the great efforts made by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God protect him, in supporting segments of society in general and people with disabilities in particular, to avoid all the negatives and obstacles that limit the integration of this group into society. We have worked to prepare the hospital to employ people with disabilities. Disability through our advertisement in local newspapers and embodying our desire to benefit from their services and our commitment to providing them with a suitable and appropriate work environment, facilitating all obstacles facing them, and supporting and training them to extract the potentials hidden within them.

In complement, cooperation, and our belief in these constants, it was decided to continue directing the upcoming recruitment movement to target qualified persons with disabilities and include them in the hospital’s five departments (operation, projects, finance, human resources, support services, and customer service). Dar Al Shifa Hospital has undertaken many facilitating measures. To prepare the work environment for workers with disabilities and facilitate the receipt of health services, including, but not limited to, providing parking lots near the hospital gates designated for people with disabilities, and creating ramps for wheelchairs for people with disabilities from the time they enter the hospital until their place of work or to clinics in the event that Their need for medical care, training employees to facilitate any obstacles that persons with disabilities may face, whether they are employees or visitors to the hospital, and applying all quality, security and safety standards to provide safe and high-quality medical services to patients with disabilities.

The hospital cooperated with the relevant authorities, including ministries, governmental and private bodies, and charitable societies, to receive patients with disabilities and provide the best health care services at discounted and special prices.

The hospital administration, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and his deputy, was keen to obtain the highest accreditation certificates in the field of providing medical services to people with disabilities (Mowaamah), in order to prepare employees and infrastructure to receive patients with disabilities, by holding courses and lectures for employees, doctors, nurses, administrators, and front-line employees to provide Appropriate service for people with disabilities.

The hospital is proud to offer employment opportunities for people with disabilities by announcing to job seekers in newspapers and various means of communication its desire to benefit from their services, as it has pledged itself to provide an appropriate and appropriate work environment for them and to facilitate all obstacles facing them, which prevent them from continuing to work, and we affirm our commitment and insistence that The work environment shall be adapted in all aspects for persons with disabilities.

In addition to cooperating with specialized centers to train employees with disabilities to carry out the tasks assigned to them professionally and proficiently, and to support and encourage them to continue their work and meet all their needs to create a stimulating and comfortable work environment.
